Privacy Policy

The Short Version (TL;DR):

  • We don't spy on you. We don't ask for your email or phone number to take our standard quizzes.
  • The 90-Day Rule: For BFF Quizzes, we delete your data automatically after 3 months.
  • Solo Quizzes = Zero Memory. We don't record your choices for the solo quizzes at all.
  • Where it lives: Your data is stored securely in the USA using Cloudflare.

The Full Policy

Last Updated: December 12, 2025 1. Introduction Welcome to QuizBestie! We believe privacy should be simple. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

2. How We Handle Your Data (The Specifics) We handle data differently depending on which quiz you play:

  • The "BFF Challenge": If you create a BFF quiz, we need to save your name and answers so we can "grade" your friends' guesses. We have a strict 90-day retention period. Your data (name and answers) is stored for exactly 3 months to let your friends play. After that? Poof. It is automatically and permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Solo "Quick & Fun" Quizzes: For quizzes like the "Friendship Animal" or "Color Palette," we do not record or store your selection data at all. You click, we show you the result, and the data evaporates. We don't keep a history of which answers you picked.

⠀3. Data Storage

  • Where is my data? We use Cloudflare D1 services. While we are an independent team based in China, our data servers are located in the United States. By using QuizBestie, you acknowledge that your information is processed and stored on these US-based servers.

⠀4. Cookies and Tracking We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our website (e.g., "Wow, the Capybara quiz is trending!"). This helps us fix bugs and make better content. These cookies collect anonymous traffic data, not your personal secrets.

⠀5. Who Can Use QuizBestie

  • Age Limit: This site is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
  • For Parents: If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has snuck in and provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at contact@quizbestie.com. We will scrub that information from our systems ASAP.
